We invite you to not only visit our website, but to experience the love of God directly through the Westover Baptist Church family. Join us for coffee and fellowship at 9:00am on Sunday morning. Share in an enriching small-group Bible Study at 10:00. Worship with joy and reverence as you hear God's Word through our traditional worship service at 11:00. You may also enjoy a weekday study, one of our special events, or a private meeting with a deacon or our pastor. You are always welcome, and we encourage you to let us know how we might best meet your needs.

If you have not already done so, we also encourage you to open your heart and mind to Jesus. Dedicating your life to God is the most important thing you will ever do, the easiest, and the most rewarding. We want you to be able to do so with enthusiasm, sincerity, faith and trust. Alma Hunt Offering I beseech you therefore, bretheren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:1-2, KJV) This year, Westover hopes to raise $7,000 for the Alma Hunt 2008 Offering to Virginia Missions. The Alma Hunt Offering for Virginia Missions is a joint venture between Woman’s Missionary Union of Virginia (WMUV) and the Baptist General Association of Virginia (BGAV) with the development of an annual goal and allocation of funds under the direction of a Virginia Missions Committee. Funds are allocated to special ministries, outreach projects, and initiatives uniquely connected to Virginia Baptists. The theme for 2008 is “Live It As You Go,” in refence to the above scripture. LORD'S SUPPER SERVICES RESUMED Communion services have been resumed following a brief discontinuation over the summer. Please join us for our next communion service the first Sunday of October.
