Where Do I Park? Westover Church has ample free parking. Enter the parking lot off Washington Boulevard and choose one of the parking spots marked with an orange cone or choose street parking on Patrick Henry Drive. There is a ramp to the Chapel at Door 5, on Patrick Henry Dr. Is Child Care Available? At the moment, Children's Church is available during worship service, however, no child care is provided during Sunday morning Bible Study or Wednesday evening Bible Study. Plese visit our Children page for more information. What Are Your Worship Services Like? Our services are approximately 1 hour, with piano prelude with chimes, a warm welcome with highlights of upcoming events, hymn singing, prayer, fellowship time to greet one another, offering, a message from the Pastor, and an invitation to Christian Faith and Discipleship. Holy Communion is held on the first Sunday of the month.
Do You Have Special Holiday Services? Special Holiday Services are an important part of our offerings to the church and broader Westover community for your holiday guests or for those who do not have a local church family. We meet for Ash Wednesday, Easter Sunrise, Good Friday, Resurrection Sunday (Easter) Celebration, Christmas Eve, and Watchnight (New Year's Eve) services. Formats vary according to the holiday and weather. | What Should I Wear? You will see a variety of dress; some wear their "Sunday Best" and some "Come As You Are". All are welcome here. When Do You Fellowship? We intentionally plan events and activities to help us get to know one another. We serve others, eat, laugh, share and encourage each other as we host and attend luncheons after special services, like Friends and Family Sunday, Church Anniversary Celebrations, Cub Scout and Boy Scout Sunday, and Holiday activities. We are getting to know our community by hosting Family Movie Nights, Vacation Bible School and topical conferences. What Are Your Bible Studies Like? Opportunities for all ages at any level of the Christian experience are available. We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, and that it is our responsibility to learn from Scripture more about God, our relationship with Him, and how to apply Jesus' teachings to our lives.
